Types of questions!

Hello everyone!

Today we are going to create a board game! To do it, we have for make different types of questions.

1. True or false questions: They are very easy to do. You must write a right or wrong sentence and we have to guess if it is true or not.

The bedside is in the bedroom: True

2. Guessing questions: These kind of questions are a little bit more complicated. You must fill this template by drawing different people doing actions in different parts of the house.

Rules: 

• You must repeat places.
• You must repeat actions.
• You must repeat people.

3. Multiple choice questions: In these questions you have to write a question or sentence and then three possible answers.

Which sentence is incorrect?

a) Right now I am having a shower.

 b) Watch out! That tree falls

c) She is watching TV

4. Open questions: You must write a question and the person can freely answer.

What are you doing?

5. Mimic: Write down an object or action to represent.

Romeo and Juliet!

Hello everyone!

Today we are going to investigate a little bit about the main characters of the Shakespeare's story of Romeo and Juliet!

Are you ready?

• Romeo Montague: The son and heir of Montague and Lady Montague. A young man of about sixteen, Romeo is handsome, intelligent, and sensitive. Though impulsive and immature, his idealism and passion make him an extremely likable character. He lives in the middle of a violent feud between his family and the Capulets, but he is not at all interested in violence. His only interest is love. At the beginning of the play he is madly in love with a woman named Rosaline, but the instant he lays eyes on Juliet, he falls in love with her and forgets Rosaline. He secretly marries Juliet, the daughter of his father’s worst enemy; he kills Tybalt; and he prefers to die than live without Juliet. Romeo is also an affectionate and devoted friend to his relative Benvolio, Mercutio, and Friar Lawrence.

• Juliet Capulet: The daughter of Capulet and Lady Capulet. A beautiful thirteen-year-old girl, Juliet begins the play as a naïve child who has thought little about love and marriage, but she grows up quickly upon falling in love with Romeo, the son of her family’s great enemy. Because she is a girl in an aristocratic family, she has not freedom to move by the city. Nevertheless, she shows amazing courage in trusting her entire life and future to Romeo, even refusing to believe the worst reports about him after he gets involved in a fight with her cousin. Juliet’s closest friend and confidant is her nurse.

• Friar Lawrence: A Franciscan friar, friend to both Romeo and Juliet. Kind,  and always ready with a plan, Friar Lawrence secretly marries the  lovers in hopes that the union might  bring peace to Verona. 

• Mercutio:  Romeo’s best friend.  He finds Romeo’s  ideas about love boring, and tries to convince Romeo to view love as something more simple.

• Tybalt: Juliet’s cousin on her mother’s side. Vain, fashionable...he becomes aggressive, violent, when he feels his pride has been injured. He hates Montagues.

• Paris: A rich who has an arranged marriage with Juliet. Paris has no reason to believe that Juliet doesn't love him and isn't excited about their marriage.

Hello everyone!

Like you know, we have been discovering how Christmas are celebrated in the different countries. So now, you are going to write an email inviting a Russian, American or Argentinian person to invite him/her to your house to celebrate Christmas!

In the email you should add the following information:

• To whom it is addressed: The e-mail that I will give you.
• The subject of the e-mail: For example: Invitation to my house's Christmas celebration.
• The message: Remember to add a small introduction, where the food is, the time, if he/she needs to bring anything, what you are going to do...
• The end of the message: I hope to see you, kisses and hugs...

New York: This city is magic for the celebration of Christmas. Its most famous aspect is the celebration of the New Year in the Time Square Ball! Moreover, New York is full of lights and of activities to do during this period such as ice-skating, shopping, theatres... So funny!

Argentina:On the opposite, in Argentina the weather is cold and you can even spend Christmas in the beach!
